Position Summary
The Store Lead is a sales-driven leader responsible for growing equipment revenue, strengthening key customer relationships, and driving overall store performance.
This role is heavily focused on identifying opportunities, appraising, quoting, and selling equipment, while also ensuring strong alignment across Parts and Service to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customer accounts by providing proactive support and guidance that drives long-term success and loyalty.
- Spend the majority of time (over 60%) in direct sales activities, including appraising equipment, developing quotes, negotiating deals, and closing equipment sales.
- Lead the equipment sales effort within the store by identifying opportunities, creating tailored solutions, and delivering equipment, service, and support packages that meet customer needs.
- Achieve and exceed sales performance goals related to volume, margin, and customer engagement.
- Work closely with customers to understand their agronomic, operational, and financial priorities, positioning solutions that maximize their productivity and return on investment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and equipment information within the CRM to support pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning.
- Provide leadership and direction to Parts and Service Managers, ensuring alignment with sales efforts and consistent, high-quality customer experience.
- Foster strong cross-department collaboration to support sales growth and ensure customers receive timely, effective support before and after the sale.
- Represent the dealership professionally in all customer interactions, community involvement, and brand-related activities.
- Stay current on equipment offerings, technology solutions, aftermarket support, financing programs, and industry trends to effectively position solutions and drive sales.
Qualifications
- Preferred 3+ years of successful sales experience
- 3+ years of people management or leadership experience
- Familiarity with John Deere or competitive equipment, along with a strong understanding of technology and agronomic trends
- Knowledge of business, financial, and operational practices within related industries
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships with a consultative sales approach
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Flexibility to work seasonal hours as required by the demands of the role

Compensation
The following represents Kibble Equipment compensation estimation based on market data and placement of internal employees. This is an incentive based role with the average compensation ranging from $80,000 to $120,000 with additional upside.
