May is a month where hard work pays off—both in the field and in the classroom. Congrats, Class of 2025!
In May, planting begins for our customers. Additionally, it’s also the season when students graduate and step into their careers with Kibble Equipment. After years of hard work, the Class of 2025 graduates are ready to join our team.
This year 18 students graduate from one of three Diesel Technician Programs and are joining the Kibble Equipment workforce:
Graduation May 16th
The TechKnowledge Program at Lake Area Technical College is a partnership between Brandt Holdings and LATC. The program is fully accredited by AED Foundation and leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree at LATC. The program works in close partnership with the sponsoring John Deere dealerships to administer the program’s activities and ensure the training is focused on the most current technology, equipment, and tools. Students selected by this program may have the opportunity for full-time employment with the dealership upon successful completion of the program. Brandt Holdings dealerships involved include Kibble Equipment, Platte Valley Equipment, and Valley Plains Equipment.
NDSCS – John Deere Technician Prog
Graduation May 16th
At NDSCS, students gain hands-on experience through classroom instruction, labs, and John Deere dealership internships. They learn about John Deere diesel engines, powertrains, hydraulics, and machine setup. Students also master high-tech electronics, computer diagnostics, and proprietary John Deere systems. Communication and customer relations are also emphasized for long-term success.
South Central College – Agriculture and Diesel Service Program
Graduation May 15th
SCC prepares students to turn their mechanical skills into careers working with agricultural equipment. As equipment becomes more complex, skilled technicians are in high demand. The major areas of study include gasoline and diesel engine component repair including the support lubrication, cooling, air intake, exhaust, and basic fuel systems. Other areas of emphasis are power trains, DC electrical systems and monitors, hydraulics, and diesel fuel systems. In addition, safety, air conditioning and outdoor power products complete the technical course offerings. The curriculum provides both basic and advanced technical instruction.
Each graduate will join our team as a full-time Service Technician, bringing fresh skills and energy.
