Kibble Equipment classroom visit and what to expect

What to Expect When Kibble Equipment Visits Your Classroom
When you have a Kibble Equipment classroom visit, we’re not just there to hand out brochures. We come to start a real conversation about futures, opportunities, and the paths that lead to rewarding careers.
What Happens During a Kibble Equipment Classroom Visit
We start by sharing details about our TechKnowledge internship program at Lake Area Technical College (LATC). This two-year Diesel Technology degree blends class time with real shop experience. Students spend eight weeks in the classroom building knowledge, then rotate into their sponsored Kibble Equipment shop for eight weeks applying it. That rhythm continues throughout the program and creates a balance between learning and doing.
Most of a student’s journey happens hands-on in the shop, working through job sheets and tackling real equipment challenges. To remove barriers, we cover tuition and tools, so students can focus on building their skills instead of worrying about expenses.
We also walk through other options. Students in a John Deere Tech program can qualify for up to $25,000 in tuition reimbursement after graduation, spread over five years of working with us. Those who complete a general diesel program can earn up to $20,000 in reimbursement across the same timeframe. Both routes lower the cost of school while building a clear path into the workforce.
During each Kibble Equipment classroom visit, we encourage questions. What’s a day in the shop really like? How does technology shape modern agriculture? What does a career path look like after graduation? At the same time, we ask students about their interests and goals, helping them decide if this field fits. To make that decision easier, we offer job shadows and high school internships. These experiences let students try the work, meet our teams, and get a real sense of the career before committing to college.
So when Kibble Equipment visits your school, expect more than a presentation. Expect a conversation, a chance to explore, and a glimpse into a future where education and hands-on experience work side by side.
