Three John Deere Tech Graduates Join Kibble Equipment
Another Group Reaches the Finish Line
Graduation season brought another big milestone for a few students this year as three students from the John Deere Tech program at Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) officially graduated and are now starting their careers with Kibble Equipment.
Completing one of these programs is not something you just coast through. There are long days in the classroom, time in the shop, learning systems that can get pretty complex, and figuring things out through hands-on experience. Some days go smoothly, and some days involve a lot of head scratching and asking questions. That’s part of it.
Now they get to take all of that and put it to work full time.
More Than Just Classroom Learning
One thing that makes programs like John Deere Tech different is the amount of hands-on experience students get while they are learning.
Students spend time working through diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulics, engine systems, and the technology that continues to become a bigger part of today’s equipment. They also get the chance to work alongside technicians already in the field and see what day-to-day life actually looks like.
There’s a big difference between reading something in a book and standing in front of a machine trying to figure out why it won’t cooperate.
Starting the Next Chapter
Graduation is a pretty cool moment because it is where everything starts to feel real. The classes are done, the degree is in hand, and now the focus shifts toward building a career.
For these graduates, they are stepping into full-time roles and becoming part of the next generation of technicians supporting our customers and communities. We know there is still plenty to learn because there always is in this industry, but that’s one of the things that makes it fun too.
Congratulations to Our NICC Graduates
We want to congratulate all three graduates on this accomplishment and thank them for all the work they put in to get here.
