Don’t Miss the Final TechKnowledge One Day Diesel Camp – July 23
The final TechKnowledge One Day Diesel Camp of the summer is set for Wednesday, July 23 at Lake Area Technical College (LATC) in Watertown, South Dakota.
At this final camp, students will engage in hands-on experience activities and learn about careers in diesel and ag technology.
Here is a short overview of what students will do at the TechKnowledge One Day Diesel Camp:

Students will get hands-on experience with industry-leading equipment.

Students also rotate through stations focused on hydraulics, diesel engines, and GPS mapping.

Along the way, instructors and dealership mentors offer one-on-one guidance or answer questions.

Finally, students learn about LATC’s TechKnowledge Student Technician Program, which offers a 100% tuition-free path to a skilled career.
At this camp, Students gain hands-on experience wrenching engines, working with electrical and hydraulic systems as well as use GPS technology for mapping with a John Deere Gator UTV. Through these activities, they discover how diesel powers agriculture’s future and how to jumpstart their careers in this field.
